Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in physics, engineering, or mathematics
- 14 or more years of hands-on experience in analyzing and interpreting radar systems and data
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with Special Access eligibility and willingness to undergo a Counter Intelligence (CI) polygraph
- Demonstrated expertise in analytic problem-solving related to radar data exploitation for space objects
- Familiarity with radar data products, signal processing techniques, and scattering phenomenology
- Fundamental grasp of astrodynamics and space systems
- Proficient in relevant software tools or programming languages for space systems, such as Systems Tool Kit, MATLAB, Python, C++, or similar
Strongly Desired Skills:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Physics or Engineering
- Knowledge of U.S. Intelligence Community resources and products
- Experience with space system acquisitions or space technology development
- Background in project or task technical leadership
Responsibilities
- Conduct specialized technical studies related to radar systems, targets, and data products to provide assessments and actionable solutions for program managers or satellite operators
- Lead and engage in complex physics-based modeling, simulation, and analysis, while conducting technical trade-offs
- Cultivate and maintain extensive knowledge of U.S. national security space, foreign space, counter-space threats, and space surveillance and identification
- Represent the customer in various Government and contractor meetings and attend contractor programmatic and technical reviews to deliver technical recommendations and risk assessments
- Interact frequently with program managers, SETAs, FFRDCs, and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain productive relationships with the Program Office, Prime and Subcontract counterparts, functional IC or DoD colleagues, and other SMEs
- Consistently apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques
