Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with nine (9) years of experience; Masters degree with seven (7) years of experience; or PhD/JD with four (4) years of experience
- Current Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- Knowledge in Space Domain Awareness (SDA)
- Over 3 years of experience in developing, testing, or deploying space and/or ground systems
- Proficiency in at least one system engineering process area, including requirements development, transition, and testing
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert for the SPO, overseeing software development, implementation, and deployment of ground processing systems integrated with the NRO space enterprise
- Write and review I&W system requirements, breaking them down to lower-level SPO requirements while ensuring complete traceability
- Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to define SPO requirements and assist software developers in interpreting these requirements
- Conduct working groups with developers and end users in specified mission areas to formulate operating concepts that drive agile design and development
- Evaluate the technical progress of software development and shape strategic recommendations based on analysis, including engineering and acquisition trades within development priorities and budget constraints
- Work with other I&W SMEs to create technical plans and documentation, providing Request for Change (RFC) impact assessments to SPO acquisition plans and schedules
- Represent the SPO during the software developers Program Increment (PI) planning, pre-planning, sprint close-out, and demonstration events, articulating the SPOs vision and priorities
