Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (4 years of experience in lieu of degree)
- Experience with Java or C/C++
- Familiarity with the Linux operating system and command-line interface
- Proficient in using version control systems such as Git
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams
- Analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues creatively
- Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new software functionalities based on project directives
- Produce clean, well-documented code in compliance with coding standards and best practices
- Identify, troubleshoot, and fix software defects
- Engage in software requirements discussions, code reviews, and test plan evaluations
- Create and maintain technical documentation for implemented features
- Collaborate with team members in-person and through Microsoft Teams to plan, estimate, and finalize projects
