Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience; or fourteen (14) years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proven knowledge of U.S. and allied forces, weapon systems, formations, and command structures.
- Strong understanding of Exercise Control Groups (ECG) and military exercise methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in all phases of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC).
- Willingness and ability to travel overseas for extended periods.
- Valid passport or ability to obtain a passport is mandatory.
- Active Secret Clearance is required, with the ability to secure a Top-Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research and accurately represent forces, weapon systems, and other entities in the Joint Theater Level Simulation-Global Operations (JTLS-GO) prior to and throughout USINDOPACOM exercises.
- Collaborate with operational planners and working groups to define and document simulation entity requirements.
- Prepare required databases, terrain models, maps, and other resources to support events.
- Execute functional and operational tests, and validate joint simulation solutions/database functionality during technical tests, Event Functional Test (EFT), Event Operational Test (EOT), and Exercise Control Group (ECG) Training to ensure readiness at STARTEX.

We are seeking a Simulation Database Planner to join our team on Ford Island in Oahu, Hawaii, where we support the Pacific Warfighting Center (PWC) and the US Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM). This full-time role may require some travel, approximately 10% of the time, and candidates must be willing to travel overseas for several weeks.
