Requirements
Must:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least nine (9) years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration
- Active Secret clearance
- Comprehensive experience with ServiceNow platform capabilities, including scripting, customization, and configuration
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and additional relevant programming languages
- Strong grasp of ITIL processes and best practices
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desired Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification
- Experience with additional ServiceNow modules such as Security Operations (SecOps) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
- Prior experience with government or defense clients
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including but not limited to IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Business Management (ITBM)
- Customize ServiceNow applications and manage configuration of all applied changes
- Create workflows, scripts, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, client scripts, and notifications
- Design and apply integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and integration hub
- Automate routine tasks and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual workloads
- Act as a technical advisor and lead for ServiceNow projects and initiatives
- Offer guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members
- Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with best practices and coding standards
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and end-users, to gather and understand requirements
- Convert business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development assignments
- Perform comprehensive testing of developed solutions to guarantee quality and functionality
- Troubleshoot and promptly resolve issues and defects
- Generate and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides
- Produce and present reports on system performance, usage metrics, and project status
