Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) credential
- ITIL V4 Foundations certification
- 3-5 years of practical experience using the ServiceNow platform, including modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and WSD
- Proficient in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), integration technologies, and database principles
- Capability to handle multiple high-priority tasks in a dynamicand fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for conveying IT, networking, and security concepts to diverse audiences
- Familiar with network management, security, monitoring tools, or cloud technologies
- Excellent facilitation skills to effectively steer team dynamics and decision-making processes
Responsibilities
- Document and assess the overall platform design while analyzing the implications of new requirements
- Ensure the platform aligns with the overarching business strategy
- Provide consultative technical leadership to the platform team
- Maintain a detailed overview of existing architecture
- Establish architectural controls to deliver the correct technical solutions for business needs
- Address technical escalations and respond to defects
- Participate in process workshops
- Collaborate closely with the enterprise architecture team
- Assist in migrating configurations across different instances
- Act as an integration expert when no dedicated role is available
- Generate and curate information to support enterprise decision-making
- Enhance and manage existing reporting systems
- Conduct and facilitate analyses, identify issues, assess organizational risks, and lead decision-making processes
- Offer consulting and analytic support to leadership
- Provide technical mentoring, support, and training to junior analysts
- Develop methodologies and processes for project prioritization and scheduling
- Analyze challenges and identify root causes
- Work closely with all Directorate Branches and engineering teams to formulate a long-term strategy for data platform architecture
