Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related technical field with fourteen years of relevant experience in systems integration and engineering
- Masters degree in a related field with twelve years of relevant experience in systems integration and engineering
- PhD or JD with nine years of relevant experience in systems integration and engineering
- Proficiency in tools for team collaboration and analysis, such as Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, Access, and Project
- Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) including generation, analysis, and maintenance of digital models
- Experience with projects involving updates to ground-based systems, such as RF systems, communication systems, telemetry, or system virtualization
Responsibilities
- Provide system-level engineering support and expertise as part of a cross-functional team
- Develop preliminary solutions to engineering challenges of moderate complexity in a prompt and efficient manner
- Identify and leverage current and emerging Digital Engineering practices to tackle key challenges faced by our sponsors and partners
- Apply principles of agile acquisition, architecture design, system integration, risk assessment, and other systems engineering disciplines to formulate recommendations
- Utilize rapid prototyping and technical insights to guide our sponsors and partners in their capability requirements and decisions
- Collaborate closely with platform partners to promote the effective use of MBSE and digital engineering across the organization
- Author and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including Requirements Specifications, Concepts of Operation, and Qualification Test Plans
- Develop and document engineering processes and standards in alignment with customer requirements
