Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a Science field related to space preferred
- Established ability to foster trust and contribute to effective, diverse teams
- Experience leading high-performing technical teams while managing multiple tasks concurrently
- Knowledge of existing GEOINT Space providers and their satellite systems
- Familiarity with collection and processing methodologies, as well as tasking, command and control processes
- Proven skills in conducting analyses and evaluations, making recommendations, and preparing reports and presentations
- Ability to distill technical expertise into clear information and findings for government leadership presentations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing technical guidelines
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a team atmosphere alongside government leads and subject matter experts to support GSIAs initiatives for GEOINT space capability studies
- Interact with various NRO and DoD space directorates to understand their missions and functions, developing metrics that demonstrate customer utilization of NRO solutions
- Engage in technical IPTs and working groups to recommend improvements for space system integration and performance, ensuring GSIA program office interests are maintained
- Provide technical direction and integrate space systems, including data management and cloud technologies utilized across the IC and DoD
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for space programs and policies
- Document compatibility and interoperability among different systems and technologies
- Evaluate technical performance and modeling outcomes, identify risks to program timelines, and support the development of acquisition strategies
- Travel approximately 10% of the time within the U.S.
