Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, with 4 additional years of experience acceptable in lieu of a degree
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- IAT-II Certification in areas such as CCNA-Security, CySA+, Security+CE, and/or CND
- Proficiency with major storage vendors (e.g., Dell EMC, NetApp)
- Strong technical understanding of Fibre Channel, SCSI, NAS, SAN, and Enterprise Flash Drives
- Significant experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, vMotion, datastores)
- Ability to mentor junior team members
Responsibilities
- Manage, design, and optimize the organizations enterprise data storage infrastructure (SAN/NAS/Cloud)
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise SAN/NAS hardware and software, including fiber channel switches and storage arrays
- Proactively monitor storage performance, identifying bottlenecks and forecast capacity needs to support business growth
- Implement backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage hardware and software issues
- Ensure data security by implementing access controls and encryption
- Lead projects related to storage and backup, including upgrades, migrations, and vendor management
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and configuration standards
