Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Additional years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
- A minimum of 2 years in software development or systems administration.
- Solid knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (such as Python, Java, or C++).
- Demonstrated experience with automation tools, especially Ansible or RHEL.
- Understanding of Agile development practices.
- Experience in creating technical documentation.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Current Security + certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Engage in the design, development, testing, and implementation of software applications within the JEXC2 program.
- Create and manage automation scripts with Ansible to enhance infrastructure and application deployment efficiency.
- Oversee the administration of Windows and Linux servers and virtual machines, ensuring their performance and security standards are met.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to software applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, testers, system administrators) within an Agile framework.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Apply and uphold security best practices to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
- Participate in code reviews, contributing to the enhancement of software development workflows.
- Deploy and sustain containerized applications.
