Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- At least 14 years of experience or a Masters degree with 12 years of experience
- A minimum of 8 years in systems engineering, solutions architecture, or a relevant technical discipline
- Proven experience within the defense sector, supporting U.S. Government clients
- Established history of managing or contributing to technical proposals in response to government RFPs
- Background in capture and business development initiatives
- Familiarity with government acquisition processes and proposal development lifecycles
- Proficient in creating comprehensive technical solutions across complex, multi-disciplinary challenges in Space Systems, IT Systems, GEOINT, or SIGINT domains
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Ability to handle ambiguity and construct solutions with incomplete data
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Capability to oversee multiple proposals simultaneously under pressure
- Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical development of solutions for new captures and proposals related to government RFPs, RFIs, and Sources Sought notices in support of Intelligence Community and Department of War programs
- Produce and refine technical documentation, white papers, and solution narratives from inception to completion with minimal oversight
- Break down and analyze intricate government requirements across various mission areas and technical domains
- Work collaboratively with capture managers, business development leaders, and subject matter experts to formulate winning strategies that are technically differentiated
- Foster innovation by identifying and incorporating emerging technologies, architectures, and methodologies into proposed solutions
- Develop solution architectures, including system designs, technical methodologies, and implementation roadmaps customized to client needs
- Willing to create capability prototypes and design solutions
- Engage with government customers and stakeholders during pre-RFP activities to shape requirements and strategic positioning
- Provide technical foundations for cost and pricing teams through basis of estimates and work breakdown structures
- Stay informed about the competitive environment, industry trends, and government priorities within the Intelligence domain
