Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field with at least 7 years of experience in managing data networks, demonstrating a strong background in network design, architecture, troubleshooting, and management.
- Proficient in using Cisco and Nexus switches, as well as DHCP, DNS, VPN, MPLS, MTIPS, Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), routing, switching, cloud infrastructure, Out-of-Band (OOB) networks, and firewall management.
- Practical experience in a systematic environment for deploying and managing network devices, including policy establishment and maintenance.
- Skilled in configuring Cisco routers and switches.
- Ability to design, plan, establish, and enhance wireless networks.
- Familiarity with Arubas architecture incorporating Wireless and Network Access Control.
- Competent in managing Nutanix Prism and Acropolis hypervisor.
- Expertise in firewall and VPN setup, management, and analysis.
- Experienced with network access security tools.
- Knowledgeable in MS Server Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting and implementation.
- Able to resolve Level 2 and Level 3 issues within a Windows Server and Windows 11 setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for documentation purposes.
- Excellent problem-solving, root cause analysis, and network optimization capabilities.
- Collaborative team player, eager to foster teamwork to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
- Must hold at least one of the following certifications: CCNA or CCNP, and ITIL v3 certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, implementation, troubleshooting, analysis, and maintenance of the Academys networks, including configuring, testing, and sustaining LAN/WAN/DMZ/Wireless networks and associated services.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues as they arise.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation for all deployed networks, applications, and appliances.
- Manage daily activities necessary for overseeing data services, including network design and implementation, as well as resolving complex network challenges.
- Provide daily oversight and guidance to support staff, delivering both technical and administrative instructions.
