Requirements

Must:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in roles such as data scientist, data engineer, geospatial engineer, machine learning engineer, or software engineer. - Demonstrated expertise in creating and deploying algorithms, mathematical models, or machine learning models in practical settings. - Proficient programming skills in Python. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes. - Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control using Git. - Familiarity with machine learning frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. - Solid programming skills in Java, C++, Go, or Rust. - Experience in distributed computing and parallel processing methods. - Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills. - Capacity to work effectively within a collaborative team atmosphere. - Previous experience supporting government agencies or military entities is beneficial. - Physical capability to handle tools and equipment aboard ships, including navigating confined spaces and maintaining required points of contact, with a maximum weight of 50 lbs. - Ability to conduct tasks aboard Navy vessels and in challenging shipboard environments, including navigating narrow spaces and working at heights. - Willingness to perform tasks periodically during naval operations or testing scenarios. - Compliance with Navy safety regulations and use of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
