Senior Information Security Analyst

- Conduct monitoring and response to network security incidents. - Maintain the accredited cybersecurity posture of domain enclaves by tracking cyber-vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with DISA STIGs and SRGs. - Assist with the STIG/SRG checklist process and validate compliance of configuration changes. - Track active hosts and inventory software to apply necessary STIGs/SRGs. - Research and apply configuration updates/changes, determining their impact through a patch-and-test approach. - Provide extensive cybersecurity support for Modeling and Simulation / Live, Virtual, and Constructive (M&S/LVC) IT systems. - Support comprehensive scanning and remediation of networks. - Assist in monitoring security and detecting unauthorized access. - Develop and enforce security policies, plans, and procedures while supporting IS security incident handling and remediation activities. - Help maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) accreditation for networks and systems. - Review system documentation for accuracy and conduct facility visits related to Information Assurance (IA) controls. - Report cybersecurity findings to relevant parties and coordinate necessary documentation for security agreements. - Participate in meetings with security stakeholders, presenting issues and recommendations. - Support system administration functions by implementing cybersecurity best practices for network integrity and availability. - Report on findings from scheduled and unscheduled cybersecurity audits, providing metrics and recommendations to enhance security posture.
