Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree and at least 9 years of relevant experience. Additional experience or certifications may substitute for a degree.
- An active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
- Relevant DoD 8140 (formerly DoD 8570) certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, or similar cybersecurity/software certifications).
- Proven track record in developing, testing, and deploying sophisticated software solutions in dynamic operational environments.
- Proficient in coding with Python, AWS, and Gitlab.
- Comprehensive understanding of secure software development lifecycle processes aligned with DoD and current cybersecurity best practices.
- Significant experience with programming languages, software frameworks, system integration, and tools applied in cyber engineering.
- Established capability to work collaboratively in highly technical, team-oriented development settings while adhering to timelines and quality expectations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver innovative software capabilities that fulfill operational and technical specifications.
- Provide senior engineering expertise to stimulate innovation and address complex technical challenges.
- Oversee system and component-level testing to yield scalable, interoperable, and dependable solutions.
- Work collaboratively with teams to integrate cyber capabilities into larger systems, ensuring consistency across outputs and operational ambitions.
- Support all phases of the cybersecurity solutions lifecycle, which includes refining requirements, producing documentation, and addressing feedback from stakeholders.
- Diagnose and implement updates to uphold system integrity, reliability, and compliance with changing cybersecurity standards.
- Conduct technical demonstrations, create supporting documents such as test plans and user manuals, and secure successful stakeholder engagement.
- Identify potential risks early in the development cycle and devise strategies for mitigation to ensure successful outcomes.
