Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with fourteen (14) years of experience, or a Masters degree with twelve (12) years of experience, or a PhD/JD with nine (9) years of experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- DoD 8570.1-M IAM-3 certification (CISM, CISSP, GSLC, or CCISO).
- Comprehensive understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Proven experience applying security principles throughout the system development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to operational acceptance.
- Background in conducting security assessments for information systems and evaluating Information Assurance (IA) and Cybersecurity controls while supporting RMF activities.
- Familiarity with operational Air Force or Space Force systems.
- Skilled in using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
Responsibilities
- Offer technical guidance to Information System Security Engineers (ISSEs), Information System Security Officers (ISSOs), and Program Managers.
- Utilize expertise to develop and implement System Security Plans, generate Security Assessment Reports, and execute necessary vulnerability scans for obtaining and maintaining Authorities to Operate (ATOs) from the Authorizing Official (AO).
- Facilitate Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities alongside other cybersecurity tasks tied to the authorization of Air Force systems.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for program staff, including crafting job descriptions, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selecting suitable personnel to meet program demands.
- Oversee the onboarding and integration process for new hires, ensuring alignment with customer mission objectives, contract deliverables, and company culture.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to assess staffing requirements, implement workforce planning strategies, and uphold optimal staffing levels to support present and future program operations.
