Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (five years); additional four years of experience may substitute for degree
- Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
- In-depth understanding of aircraft and aspects of aerospace engineering including aerodynamics, propulsion, structures, flight design, and control
- Proficient in delivering presentations in a classroom environment
- Willingness to research and develop cybersecurity materials related to aircraft/aerospace, despite lacking direct experience in that area
- Familiarity with Mission Assurance doctrine and Technical Orders (T.O.s)
Responsibilities
- Research and create training materials for aircraft control subsystems and related systems, to be used in lab environments
- Integrate Technical Orders, engineering standards, and Department of Air Force guidance into training curricula for Mission Assurance with a focus on cybersecurity
- Collaborate with team members to design and construct labs and scenarios that demonstrate cyber impacts on aircraft subsystems and related technologies
- Assist in the planning, design, development, and delivery of training materials, including support for other curriculum development projects as needed
- Work alongside the Team Lead and Program Management to provide technical project deliverables for curriculum development and advise on future aerospace cybersecurity project directions
