Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree and a minimum of five years of experience in a relevant field.
- Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with an in-scope SSBI/T5 background investigation.
- Capability to obtain and retain Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Program accesses.
- Willingness to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Programs and consent to a polygraph examination if required.
- Relevant DoD 8140 certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, or equivalent).
- Proficient in documentation processes and methodologies.
- Over three years of experience in administering Linux systems within an enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience with RHEL 8 or later versions.
- Proven track record in supporting air gapped, isolated, or high-security information systems.
- Strong knowledge of system hardening, patch management, and configuration management in offline settings.
- Competence in Bash or Python scripting.
- Familiarity with SELinux, systemd, LVM, and foundational networking concepts.
- Understanding of security compliance frameworks, STIGs, CIS benchmarks, or similar standards.
- Ability to obtain and sustain necessary security clearances as required.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, secure, and maintain RHEL 8+ systems in air gapped environments.
- Manage system patching, repository oversight, and package installations without external access.
- Create and uphold system baselines, documentation, and configuration guidelines in compliance with security mandates.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and engage in incident response processes.
- Apply STIGs, CIS benchmarks, and other hardening protocols as necessary.
- Ensure secure system configurations for services, authentication, logging, auditing, and access controls.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and GRC teams to guarantee adherence to internal and external regulations.
- Automate standard tasks using shell scripting, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Assist in system integration, data transfers, and cross-domain solutions in isolated settings.
- Work collaboratively with cybersecurity, GRC, and infrastructure teams.
- Exhibit strong analytical abilities and a security-centric approach.
