Requirements
Must:
- Active DoD Secret clearance is mandatory.
- Bachelors degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, or computer science with at least 9 years of experience in systems engineering.
- Over 10 years of proven experience in comprehensive testing and managing test project teams, including scheduling oversight.
- At least 7 years of test and evaluation experience working with DoD/USAF test processes and documentation.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with space systems, which may include space, ground, or terminal segments.
- Experience collaborating with military or DoD civilian clients.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute test strategies to validate system requirements and ensure proper integration of space and ground segments.
- Create and maintain Test and Evaluation Master Plan, including requirement verification and test objectives.
- Gather, assess, interpret, and report T&E data effectively.
- Assist in establishing a common Test and Evaluation database for the program.
- Participate in T&E reviews, audits, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and various review boards to ensure thorough assessment of processes.
- Procure testing hardware and develop plans to evaluate software/hardware changes and technology concepts.
- Provide reliable verification of compliance status for systems and subsystems.
- Support effective capacity planning and resource allocation for testing priorities.
- Conduct technical review boards and lead root cause analysis sessions in government contexts.
- Integrate Test tools and DevOps methodologies for thorough testing analysis.
- Formulate system-of-systems verification plans and trace them to specific testing events.
- Create integration plans to ensure full system capabilities.
- Collect and analyze data from system-of-systems integration activities.
- Enhance existing processes and draft internal operational procedures as necessary.
