Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience in developing data models that merge program financial and technical information to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Active Top Secret clearance with an in-scope SSBI/T5 background check. Ability to obtain and maintain Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Program accesses. Willingness to agree to a polygraph.
- (Preferred) Masters degree in Business Management, technical management, or engineering.
- (Preferred) Professional certifications such as PMI PMP.
- (Preferred) Experience in the National Security Space or Space Control mission area.
- (Preferred) Experience in government weapon systems acquisitions, program management, or contract management within the Department of Defense.
Responsibilities
- Offer guidance to Program and Project Managers on acquisition strategies, scheduling, contracting, budgeting, and execution processes.
- Create data models that integrate program financial and technical information to support actionable decisions.
- Prepare regular status updates, facilitate and manage periodic staff and technical interchange meetings, and develop acquisition plans, schedules, and executive briefings for the program.
- Draft and coordinate comprehensive program planning and execution documents according to DoDI 5000.02, Acquisition Framework, and related DoD, AF, and local unit policies that address rapid prototyping initiatives.
- Conduct technical and programmatic evaluations of contractor design/milestone reviews to assess progress, risks, and the ability to meet mission requirements.
- Manage program element coordination, staffing, and monitoring; provide counsel and support to government customers regarding funding commitments, obligations, and expenditures, and assist in generating and delivering monthly financial reports throughout the program lifecycle.
