Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or a comparable technical field and nine (9) years of relevant experience in systems integration and engineering, or a Masters degree in the same fields with seven (7) years of related experience.
- Familiarity with collaborative tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, Access, and Project.
- Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including the creation, analysis, and maintenance of digital models.
- Proven experience in projects involving updates to ground-based systems like RF Systems, communication systems, telemetry, and/or system virtualization.
Responsibilities
- Provide system-level engineering expertise to a multidisciplinary team.
- Develop preliminary solutions for engineering challenges of moderate complexity in a timely and efficient manner.
- Identify and implement current and emerging Digital Engineering practices to tackle pressing issues for our sponsors and partners.
- Utilize knowledge of agile acquisition, architecture design, system integration, risk assessment/management, and other systems engineering disciplines to make informed recommendations.
- Employ rapid prototyping techniques and make technical recommendations to support sponsor and partner capabilities.
- Collaborate with platform partners to enhance the practice of MBSE and Digital Engineering throughout the organization.
- Create and maintain various technical documents, including Requirements Specifications, Concepts of Operation, Product Specifications, Interface Control Documents, Compliance Matrices, and Test Plans.
