Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related technical field with nine (9) years of systems integration and engineering experience, or a Masters degree with seven (7) years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, Access, and Project
- Understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) including digital model generation, analysis, and maintenance
- Experience with updating ground-based systems such as RF systems, communication systems, telemetry, and virtualization
Responsibilities
- Provide system-level engineering support and expertise to a cross-functional team
- Deliver preliminary solutions for engineering challenges of moderate scope and complexity in a timely manner
- Identify and implement current and emerging Digital Engineering practices and tools to tackle critical challenges
- Apply knowledge of agile acquisition, architecture design, system integration, and risk management to inform decision-making
- Use rapid prototyping to inform capability requirements and decisions for sponsors and partners
- Collaborate with platform partners to enhance the practice of MBSE and DE across the organization
- Author and maintain essential technical documentation including Requirements Specifications and Qualification Test Plans
- Develop and document engineering processes and standards to meet customer needs
