Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a related field with over 5 years of experience preferred. - Relevant experience in the CS/IT field may replace the degree requirement. - Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph is mandatory. - Experience in database, network administration, or system administration is advantageous. - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities, often working independently of extensive documentation. - Desired DOD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification, or ability to secure it within 3 months of hire. - Familiarity with Linux Red Hat Enterprise, Microsoft Server network protocols, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Dell Server Configuration is preferred. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team while effectively managing tasks independently. - Documentation of best practices, troubleshooting guides, and maintenance tasks is essential. - Strong project management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact across all levels of staff and management. - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

- Plan and manage schedules for space and ground segments while coordinating with other intelligence entities. - Oversee signal processor product generation to ensure the timely flow of critical data. - Keep track of and update all components of the computer network software, including licenses, version updates, and antivirus software. - Configure and maintain firewalls, switches, and servers within an operational setting. - Diagnose and resolve network hardware issues. - Handle network administration, fault detection, fault isolation, and monitor network traffic to reduce security threats. - Troubleshoot both hardware and software issues, run diagnostics, document problems and outages, prioritize solutions, and assess the potential impact of issues. - Monitor and produce data analytics aimed at enhancing network performance. - Convey scheduling and networking concerns to the internal team and the Government Lead. - Provide documentation and technical specifications for leadership regarding updates to scheduling and networking systems. - Assist the development team with integrating network hardware, software, cybersecurity upgrades, and recap efforts for various classified networks and systems. - Train and support new users. - Be available for occasional on-call duties (including nights, weekends, and holidays). - Undertake occasional travel as required.
