Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Network Management, or a related discipline.
- 9-13 years of demonstrated experience in IT systems support, involving configuration management, troubleshooting, and operational monitoring in classified or military settings.
- Familiarity with cloud-based systems, classified environments, and enterprise IT processes.
- Active SECRET clearance with the capability to secure a TS/SCI clearance.
- Certifications (at least one required as per SAIC standards):
- CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Cloud+.
- CASP+ (Advanced Security Practitioner) for advanced security positions.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer).
- Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate or CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).
- ITIL Foundation or ITIL Practitioner Certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide continuous monitoring of systems during all phases of mission execution.
- Diagnose and rectify emergency and priority issues impacting system performance.
- Document and escalate unresolved issues or performance degradations to higher-level support.
- Oversee the configuration and inventory of systems (both hardware and software) ensuring compliance with Configuration Management Plans.
- Resolve node-related problems, including hardware repairs, software upgrades, and system replacements.
- Manage classified databases, maintaining consistent uptime and optimal performance.
- Oversee user access, backup retrieval processes, and disaster recovery initiatives.
- Offer insights on system performance and generate recommendations for Government leadership.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system trends, and identified shortcomings.
- Collaborate with the Help Desk to log and resolve IT issues, ensuring effective tracking and escalation of resolutions.
- Comply with stringent operational and security protocols established by the host command.
