Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field. - Equivalent work experience and relevant industry certifications may substitute for formal education. - Over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, and certification/accreditation, with at least 5 years in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment. - At least 8 years of experience in vulnerability assessment and data analysis. - Knowledge of Cyber Situational Awareness, including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools such as Atc, Splunk, Elastic Stack, etc. - Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementation. - Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in high-performance settings. - CompTIA Security+ certification (DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level III) required within 30 days of hire. - Must be eligible to obtain Secret or TS Clearance. - CISSP certification is highly appreciated. - Experience within a USAF AOC and a general understanding of AOC processes related to the execution of the Air Tasking Order (ATO) and Airspace Control Order (ACO) is advantageous. - Masters degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a comparable field is preferred. - Knowledge of Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) processes and procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

- Provide cybersecurity assistance for the Air Operations Center (AOC) Weapons System Falconer Program to ensure mission readiness and operational effectiveness. - Perform compliant configurations of mission-critical Command and Control (C2) systems in accordance with established cybersecurity policies and best practices. - Maintain and sustain the ongoing operations and security of C2 systems across various Air Operations Centers (AOCs) globally. - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues concerning C2 systems to minimize downtime. - Monitor C2 systems for security breaches or anomalies and respond promptly to incidents. - Keep meticulous documentation of system configurations, maintenance tasks, and security incidents, regularly reporting to stakeholders. - Collaborate closely with network engineers, system administrators, and program managers to ensure secure and integrated operations across all AOCs. - Offer training and support to end-users and junior team members, contributing to a security-conscious culture and enhancing the organizations overall cybersecurity posture.
