Requirements
Must:
- Must possess hands-on experience designing and architecting with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- Familiarity with Palo Alto firewall, Cisco Firepower VPN, Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), and Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNAC)
- CCIE certification is highly preferred
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in managing data networks with extensive knowledge in network design, architecture, troubleshooting, and management
- Strong understanding of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and related technologies
- Knowledgeable in internal and external routing protocols such as EIGRP and BGP, as well as Quality of Service (QoS)
- Experience in transitioning from IPV4 to IPV6
- Preferred experience with virtualization networking technologies
- Proven experience in troubleshooting network issues affecting user productivity
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with end-users, IT peers, and management
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Capability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be eligible to complete the eApp National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) form.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Cisco ISE environment
- Carry out daily tasks necessary for managing data services, including network design, implementation, and troubleshooting complex network problems
- Provide direct assistance to various departments on network operational concerns
- Handle installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of network infrastructure as needed
- Collaborate with application owners and IT stakeholders to develop and support a scalable, efficient, and reliable network
- Research, plan, design, and implement network technologies following industry best practices to align network operations with business and technical needs
- Assist internal business units in gathering and documenting network requirements
- Help create network policies, procedures, and change management protocols for network operations
- Work with the virtualization team to develop, configure, and manage networking requirements to ensure compatibility between physical and virtual environments
- Participate in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity initiatives.
