Requirements
Must:
- Active Secret clearance required for this position
- Bachelors degree in a STEM field
- Experience in working with military or Department of Defense civilian clients and managing professional relationships
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Over 2 years of experience with the following software suites: Angular, Java, Microservices, Docker, DISA Stratus, VMWare
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience with the same software suites
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in SATCOM
- Preferred: INCOSE CSEP or ESEP certification
Responsibilities
- Work as a developer on the National Security SATCOM Systems Synchronization Roadmap (NS4R) application
- Maintain the NS4R database, including applying security updates and enhancements
- Provide user help desk support and manage user accounts
- Perform backups of the NS4R database
- Maintain configuration control and manage backups of the source code
- Assist with evaluating and addressing security requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and support Level 1 POCs with data entry and validation
- Manage the NS4R MilCloud Virtual Data Center resources (Memory, Storage, CPUs, etc.)
- Develop and install patches for the Operating System and Database Server
- Train Government and FFRDC personnel on the NS4R tool and database operations

We are SAIC, seeking a Software Developer to become part of our Joint Terminal Engineering office (JTEO) team located in Colorado Springs, CO, or El Segundo, CA. This role supports the SSC within JTEO and involves close collaboration with the Defense Information Systems Agency to ensure the effective resolution of application issues. We provide leading-edge Systems Engineering & Integration for the Air Forces Space and Missiles System Center, supporting the acquisition of advanced Military Satellite Communications systems. We foster a dynamic and collaborative work environment, inviting technical individuals who are eager to engage with small teams while leveraging modern tools and methodologies.
