Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with nine (9) years or more of relevant experience; Masters degree with seven (7) years or more; PhD or JD with four (4) years or more, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Over 5 years of experience in software engineering in Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), and/or commercial space environments.
- Proficient in infrastructure and platform management.
- Familiar with DevOps methodologies and tools.
- Strong technical expertise in infrastructure, cloud services, and platform technologies.
- Skilled in project management practices and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, PMP, or PRINCE2.
- Experience working within the Intelligence Community.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven capability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially on technical subjects, often requiring high-level coordination.
- Relevant certifications like PMP, ITIL, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, execution, and maintenance strategies for enterprise infrastructure and platform services.
- Assess system architectures to ensure they meet standards for scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
- Support comprehensive project activities by offering technical insights for planning, implementation, and risk assessment.
- Convert stakeholder requirements into functional technical specifications and documentation.
- Provide specialist knowledge to development and integration teams regarding infrastructure and platform best practices.
- Assist in the upkeep of project documentation, including schedules, technical blueprints, and resource evaluations.
- Identify technical challenges and propose risk mitigation strategies to government leadership.
- Encourage ongoing improvement initiatives by suggesting up-to-date tools, methods, and engineering practices.
- Generate and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure components and engineering workflows.
- Contribute to status reports, technical summaries, and presentations for senior government stakeholders.
