Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- Bachelors degree and at least 14 years of experience; Masters degree with 12 years of experience; or PhD with 9 years of experience
- CISSP Certification
- Proven experience in computer networking on both Windows and Linux platforms
- Experience in website configuration
- Basic knowledge of software development
- Ability to extract technical information from non-technical personnel for problem-solving
- Familiarity with customer regulations and standards, including Information Security (INFOSEC) and Communications Security (COMSEC)
- Skills in managing security aspects of deployed infrastructure and technical solutions
Desired Skills:
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Rapid7, WebInspect, AppDetective, and CIS-CAT
- Information security certifications like CISSP, CISSE, CISA, CEH, CCSP, etc.
- Proven knowledge in identifying computer and network vulnerabilities, including malware and denial of service attacks
Responsibilities
- Support the Lifecycle Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process
- Develop a comprehensive Systems Security Plan (SSP)
- Assist in maintaining a formal Information Security Program focused on continuous process improvement
- Document operational and business processes through Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Monitor and manage projects within the A&A queue
- Analyze SSPs to gain insights into customer systems and applications
- Coordinate A&A actions and system testing with relevant security teams
- Conduct risk assessments, propose mitigating measures, and prepare succinct reports for the Chief Information Officer (CIO)
- Maintain a repository for A&A project documentation and record action items in the A&A database
- Compile and submit A&A packages to the Principal Accreditation Authority or Designated Accreditation Authority
- Review and authorize product purchase requests
- Provide security policy guidance and assist in technical policy implementation
- Create and contribute to technical documentation for A&A packages, including System Security Plans and Audit Strategies
- Address cyber risks, including threats such as malware and zero-day attacks, along with relevant mitigations for computer and network assets
