Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems
- Proven experience in engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including ISSM, SCA, or Program Managers
- Familiarity with system security and authorization approval protocols
- Understanding of NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, CNSS-1253, or JSIG guidelines
- U.S. citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance
- Possession of Security+ and CySA+ certifications
Bonus:
- Background in network, system administration, or computer operations support
- Experience with eMASS, ACAS, and applying STIGs
- Familiarity with supporting SAPF or SCIF environments
- Knowledge of cloud architecture and virtualization
Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination and management of RMF documentation for cloud environments
- Develop and oversee the Cyber Security Strategy and Continuous Monitoring Plans
- Implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and countermeasures
- Ensure compliance of software, hardware, and firmware with security configuration guidelines
- Follow proper configuration management protocols before implementation with necessary approvals
- Collaborate with system-level ISSM, SCA, and the Cybersecurity office regarding changes or modifications
- Initiate and manage protective or corrective measures for discovered security incidents or vulnerabilities
- Report security incidents or vulnerabilities to the system-level ISSM
- Plan the integration of cybersecurity engineering requirements within the team using the AGILE workflow methodology
