Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience
- U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to acquire and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Proven experience in general Information Technology
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and/or Mac Systems
- Availability to work 12-hour shifts, including overnight, weekends, and additional hours as required
Responsibilities
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware issues under the supervision of experienced staff
- Monitor performance of both local and remote systems within the High-Performance Program
- Provide Tier I support for Help Desk requests, ensuring effective triage and follow-up
- Create and maintain operational scripts for system use
- Escalate high-performance computing issues to system and vendor personnel
- Resolve user issues and keep them updated on Help Desk ticket progress
- Conduct system deployments and routine maintenance tasks, such as updates and patching
- Evaluate incoming tickets for user support needs
- Carry out technical tasks like password resets and resolving peripheral hardware problems
- Execute operations logistics including building checks, package logging, visitor processing, and answering calls
- Undertake non-interference projects as assigned
