Requirements
Must:
- TS Clearance with SCI and Poly eligibility
- Over 10 years of experience in space-related fields
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the relevant mission area
- Background in security cooperation within the Department of the Air Force, focusing on planning, programming, budgeting, or acquisition for allies or international partners
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly for decision-making audiences
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Responsibilities
- Provide informed advice to senior leadership of the Space Force regarding program specifics, acquisition strategies, contracting, and budget matters related to Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
- Comprehend systems that facilitate U.S. government space missions and the necessary acquisitions or sustainment for security cooperation
- Assist with the review, vetting, and approval of FMS documents such as Letters of Request (LORs), Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs), and Acquisition Strategy Documents (ASDs)
- Develop and coordinate documentation for SAF/SQ signature to delegate FMS cases to Portfolio Acquisition Executives
- Aid in crafting LORs for Pricing and Availability (P&As) to address foreign inquiries and coordinate responses to associated queries
- Provide effective support to the customer utilizing Pentagon staff skills and knowledge
- Advise on prioritization of tasks, instigate process improvements, and lead assigned government tasks
- Be knowledgeable of FMS timelines and ensure prompt responses to all tasks and requests
