Requirements
Must:
- TS Clearance with SCI and Poly eligibility
- Over 10 years of experience in space systems
- Minimum of 3 years of expertise in mission areas
- Background in security cooperation, planning, programming, budget management, or system acquisition for international partners
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with decision makers
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Work location is at the Pentagon with limited options for telecommuting
Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance to senior Space Force leadership on program specifics, acquisition strategies, contracting, and budgeting for Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
- Gain a thorough understanding of systems supporting U.S. government space missions that require acquisition or sustainment for security cooperation
- Facilitate review, vetting, and approval processes for FMS documents including Letters of Request (LORs), Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs), and Acquisition Strategy Documents (ASDs)
- Create and coordinate staff packages for SAF/SQ signatures essential for assigning FMS cases to Portfolio Acquisition Executives
- Assist in developing and coordinating LORs for Pricing and Availability (P&As) to effectively respond to foreign requests and related queries
- Provide comprehensive assistance to customers utilizing Pentagon staff expertise and knowledge
- Recommend priority tasks and implement process enhancements while leading government-assigned tasks
- Recognize FMS timelines and timely address all requests and tasks
