Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of two years of relevant experience; Masters degree with no experience required.
- Active Secret Clearance is required at the start.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance post-hire.
- Experience in supporting systems engineering for complex technical programs.
- Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering workflows.
- Familiarity with software architecture and requirements-driven development processes.
- Experience with architecture documentation and tracking capabilities.
- Understanding of enterprise or system-of-systems concepts and interface management.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams for integration and delivery goals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and implement operational training and exercise initiatives to ensure shipboard and command teams are proficient and ready to utilize both established and advanced capabilities in alignment with project goals.
- Support Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) operations across Fleet Experimentation (FLEX), Fleet Reps, Sets, Joint Forces, and lab/operational demonstrations, ensuring that events are well-planned, properly resourced, and meet operational objectives.
- Lead daily integration activities for emerging technologies at U.S. Navy Maritime Operations Centers (MOCs), on naval vessels, and within other naval commands by facilitating collaboration among engineers, scientists, IT experts, operators, and program stakeholders.
- Synchronize efforts across NAVWAR program offices, Fleet components, and Joint Forces to support the deployment of new warfighting capabilities while managing dependencies and resolving execution obstacles.
- Collaborate with domestic and international coalition partners to ensure operational training and exercise initiatives are adequate, coordinated, and responsive to mission requirements, including pre-event organization, event support, and post-event analysis.
- Work with existing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) teams to support the creation of comprehensive naval models that inform future network architecture design and integration strategies across Naval and Joint Forces.
- Capture and communicate event objectives, execution specifics, lessons learned, and suggested enhancements to guide future training, demonstrations, and capability deployment activities.
