Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree with five (5) years of relevant experience; six (6) years of experience may be considered in place of a degree
- For senior level, a Bachelors degree and nine (9) years of experience; six (6) years of experience in lieu of degree may apply
- Proficient in managing tactical networks and troubleshooting issues
- Experienced in field operator training
- Skilled in diagnosing and resolving computer systems and networks
- Excellent verbal communication abilities
- Capable of effectively prioritizing and completing tasks under high-pressure conditions
- Ability to work autonomously and efficiently under tight deadlines
- Must hold an active DoD Secret Clearance
- Security+ certification required upon starting
- Linux+ certification or the capability to obtain it within three months of hire
- Army Air Defense background (14 or 140A or 14G) is a plus
- Previous experience with maintaining and supporting IBCS systems, equipment, and software is desired
- Willingness to obtain a CDL preferred
- Experience with deployments outside the continental U.S. is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support services to maintain and sustain deployed IBCS systems, software, and equipment at various locations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the IBCS program
- Integrate and maintain systems utilizing Red Hat Enterprise Linux and incorporate COTS/GOTS products with IBCS systems
- Facilitate the installation and initialization of the IBCS system
- Advise clients on the features and limitations of the IBCS system
- Aid in troubleshooting issues with IBCS hardware, software, and networks
- Provide insights to program leadership regarding system performance and user feedback
- Execute operator and maintainer responsibilities on equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software
- Conduct training sessions
- Support the Program Help Desk
- Carry out scheduled equipment inventories
