Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- A minimum of 3-6 years of professional experience in embedded systems, solution engineering, or comparable engineering roles
- Proficiency in Linux or embedded Linux environments
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Understanding of hardware interfaces and protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet)
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional engineering team
- (Preferred) Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- (Preferred) Experience in hardware bring-up and board-level debugging
- (Preferred) Knowledge of secure or safety-critical systems
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evaluate embedded systems for production use
- Configure and tailor embedded Linux environments and low-level software components
- Troubleshoot intricate hardware/software integration challenges across embedded platforms
- Engage in technical design discussions and influence system architecture decisions
- Create and uphold technical documentation, design specifications, and test plans
- Address field issues and implement enhancements based on operational insights
