Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or higher with relevant experience: 9+ years for Bachelors, 7+ years for Masters, 4+ years for PhD or JD.
- Current Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
- Proven experience in supporting a Systems Engineering organization with a solid grasp of Systems Engineering and Acquisition processes.
- Familiarity with systems engineering methods, including risk management, requirements management, and configuration management.
- Background in Agile software development practices such as Scrum and SAFe.
- Extensive experience in Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) testing.
- Proficient in creating and understanding systems engineering documentation including concepts of operations and verification processes.
- Experience with process enhancement and metric development.
- Prior work in an Intelligence Community or Department of Defense environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders, including government officials and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive Systems Engineering products including integration, verification, validation, and testing processes along with schedules and roadmaps.
- Assist in formulating Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) plans and procedures for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Conduct enterprise system activities and facilitate communication with stakeholders, providing status updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Identify and analyze stakeholder needs to translate them into technical or operational requirements and manage the requirements process collaboratively with acquisition teams.
- Elaborate documentation to maintain and develop system architecture, ensuring that mission needs are met through updated requirements and risk identification for Significant Ground Capabilities (SGCs).
- Steer organizational decisions by managing risks, opportunities, and issues that affect corporate strategies.
- Contribute to the establishment of cross-program Systems Engineering standards for the Enterprise Management Framework.
- Collaborate across the organization to offer Systems Engineering insights to mission integrators and capability managers.
- Review and evaluate critical Systems Engineering documentation for technical accuracy.
- Develop and present technical assessments for senior leadership reviews.
- Prepare and oversee the documentation required for major Systems Engineering Reviews for the Enterprise.
