Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
- Familiarity with IT security or a related discipline
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required (CompTIA Sec+, GSEC, CCNA-Security, CySA+, SSCP)
- Proven experience working in Linux environments
- Background with Agile/Scrum or SAFe methodologies in defense programs
- Practical experience with DoD Enterprise DevSecOps platforms (e.g., Platform One, Iron Bank, relevant container registries)
- Proficiency with secrets management tools (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Key Management Systems)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid/multi-cloud setups in a government context (e.g., IL4/IL5, GovCloud)
- A degree (BS) or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related area
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Capability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Willingness to travel as necessary
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and sustain secure, automated software delivery pipelines supporting U.S. defense acquisition initiatives
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure the secure and efficient building, testing, and deployment of mission-critical systems
- Maintain a strong understanding of DoD acquisition environments, processes, and security protocols
- Engage in hands-on development and operational activities to enhance the DevSecOps practices within the team
- Provide support and guidance to team members on Linux systems and secure coding practices
