Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering with a minimum of five years of relevant experience; or a Masters degree with at least three years of experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Naval Eng Cert, SEP levels, IEEE, ARRL).
- Proficient in integrating Electronic Warfare (EW) systems into shipboard Command and Control (C2) systems.
- Familiarity with the Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise (CANES), with experience in all variants.
- Knowledgeable about Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) adaptations, ensuring effective live-data sharing.
- Strong grasp of network protocols, including both IP and non-IP-based systems, with the ability to integrate various communication methods (IoT, sensors, proprietary protocols).
- Experience in networking interfaces for RF collection and transmission systems, as well as designing, testing, and analyzing RF systems using tools like ADS, HFSS, CST, CAMEO, and Matlab.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of presenting project status and roadmaps to military leadership and other stakeholders.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance, with ship availability required due to sensitive project needs.
Responsibilities
- Support customers by developing, defining, and testing system requirements for complex military systems.
- Analyze computational technologies to recommend optimal hardware and software solutions for military applications.
- Lead various systems engineering activities to convert customer needs into actionable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to address technical challenges and develop comprehensive strategies.
- Ensure effective integration of complex military systems through systems integration and network engineering.
- Engage with project offices and senior military leadership to provide updates and presentations regarding project roadmap and status.
- Participate in the design and implementation of electronic warfare systems integrated into naval command and control operations.
