Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis or engineering
- At least 2 years of general IT support experience
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to interact with Warfighters and engineers
- Capacity to communicate effectively with customers, command staff, and co-workers
- Proficient in managing and prioritizing tasks for maximum efficiency
- Bachelor of Science degree in preferred fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Information Systems, or Information Technology
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance, with additional eligibility for access to other classified information
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory
Responsibilities
- Assist the team in providing continuous data feeds to users while monitoring data quality and health
- Visualize, analyze, and present data findings through dynamic reporting
- Use diverse data manipulation and visualization tools to effectively communicate current statuses and historical trends to leadership, users, and the data team
- Collaborate with platform, software, and fellow data engineers to enhance the reliability of data ingestion pipelines
- Work comfortably with various data formats, including Excel, CSV, JSON, and XML
- Support the incident management process to ensure prompt documentation and resolution of incidents
- Conduct root cause analysis to understand and mitigate the recurrence of data outages
- Create and maintain software for real-time feed monitoring and alerts regarding timeliness, volume, lineage, and distribution data issues
- Translate historical data from pipelines into actionable steps for improving data ingestion
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of web-based collaboration tools and platforms for data reporting
