Requirements

Must:
- Must possess an active Secret security clearance or higher. - Bachelors degree with 2-5 years of relevant experience, Masters degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 1+ year of relevant experience. - 9+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. - Familiarity with diverse software and hardware testing methodologies throughout the development lifecycle. - Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and self-manage multiple projects effectively. - Proficient with computer hardware and software systems, ensuring proper implementation and functionality. - Experience translating requirements and user stories into functional test plans. - Strong analytical skills to identify, characterize, and troubleshoot issues. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting clear test plans and conducting product demonstrations. - Ability to document defects promptly and work collaboratively with development teams to prioritize issues until resolved. - **Preferred Qualifications:** - Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph. - Skill in writing custom automation scripts using languages such as Python or JavaScript. - Experience testing mobile applications on Android devices. - Familiarity with agile management tools like Microsoft Azure DevOps or Jira. - Background in test automation design, development, and debugging. - Knowledge of installing virtual machines and familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies. - Understanding of computer security measures and proficiency with UNIX command lines. - Self-starter capable of learning new products independently and providing leadership on projects. - Ability to share testing best practices with team members. - Experience providing test estimations to management and project teams.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate as a member of an agile software development testing team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Test new, mission-critical software applications across various platforms (e.g., Windows, Linux, Android), ensuring integration with wireless services and custom hardware. - Validate software requirements through diverse testing types, including functional, usability, performance, security, compatibility, internationalization, and regression tests. - Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures for software systems. - Engage in cross-functional team meetings to define product functionalities and make decisions. - Review user stories and backlog items, assess their testability, and provide constructive feedback. - Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to clarify user stories and identify appropriate testing scenarios. - Identify issues promptly and communicate their impact to developers, project managers, and relevant parties to facilitate resolution. - Demonstrate completed software functionalities to key stakeholders post-sprint to ensure alignment with customer requirements. - Conduct thorough test case reviews and ensure all test activities align with client standards. - Configure hardware and software testing equipment efficiently. - Troubleshoot and isolate system failures systematically. - Clearly document defects and collaborate with the development team to prioritize resolutions until completion. - Communicate open issues and associated risks to management promptly and provide recommendations.
