Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, or platform security; or an additional 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active Interim Secret security clearance with the capability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Proficient understanding of DevSecOps environments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Practical experience securing cloud and hybrid settings.
- Knowledge of DISA STIGs and system hardening practices.
- Experience in vulnerability management and remediation processes.
- Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks such as RMF and NIST 800-53.
- Strong background in Linux and/or Windows system security.
- Ability to work with classified systems and environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee secure architectures for DevSecOps platforms in both classified and unclassified settings.
- Ensure hardened configurations for cloud and on-premise systems while employing DISA STIGs and secure network architectures.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines with security controls, software supply chain protections, and compliance automation, collaborating with DevOps engineers.
- Securely incorporate and authorize new technologies, including Generative AI platforms and CLI-based systems within hybrid and mission-critical environments.
- Align systems with DoD cybersecurity frameworks and develop necessary documentation for security control implementation and compliance.
- Manage vulnerability scanning initiatives, analyzing findings, and developing remediation strategies while supporting security monitoring and incident response activities.
- Maintain robust security measures and operational assurance for DevSecOps platforms and AI-enabled development systems across key programs.
