Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, or equivalent certifications - Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory - Relevant DoD 8140 certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, or other applicable cybersecurity/software credentials) - Proven experience in developing, testing, and deploying software solutions within operationally focused settings - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and familiarity with AWS and GitLab - Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle processes that meet DoD standards and modern cybersecurity practices - Basic understanding of programming languages, software frameworks, and tools commonly used in cyber engineering - Strong collaborative skills in technical, team-based environments while adhering to deadlines and quality benchmarks

Responsibilities

- Assist in the design, development, and delivery of software capabilities that satisfy operational and technical requirements - Support the creation of innovative solutions and help address technical challenges under the guidance of senior engineers - Participate in system and component-level testing to ensure scalable, interoperable, and reliable solutions - Work closely with team members to integrate cyber capabilities into existing systems, aligning with project deliverables and operational objectives - Contribute throughout the cybersecurity solutions lifecycle, from refining requirements to documentation and stakeholder feedback incorporation - Aid in troubleshooting and implementing updates to ensure system integrity, reliability, and compliance with cybersecurity standards - Help prepare technical demonstrations and create supporting documentation such as test plans and user guides to facilitate successful stakeholder engagement - Participate in risk identification during development phases and assist in formulating mitigation strategies to support project success
