Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 2 years of direct experience in administering IBM Rational tools, including installation, upgrades, and configuration of IBM Rational ClearQuest and ClearCase (preferably version 9.x and above) UCM administration.
- Possession of an active Secret clearance with the capability to obtain and sustain a Top Secret clearance required for U.S. Citizenship.
- Demonstrable proficiency in scripting for builds.
- Proven expertise in developing ClearQuest schemas.
- Experience in administering IBM Rational ClearCase VOB, ClearQuest administration, enhancement, design, and customization processes using Visual Basic, SQL, and/or Perl.
- Proficiency in working with and updating SQL Server databases, DB2 databases, and Data Studio.
- Experience installing and configuring Rational Application Developer (RAD, preferably version 9.x and above) or Eclipse and Visual Studio (preferably 20xx and above).
- Understanding of software build processes for J2EE and .Net applications.
- Experience executing software deployments in WebSphere and SharePoint.
- Proficient in creating, debugging, and writing build scripts using ANT, MS Build, and PowerShell.
- Familiarity with Rational Application Developer/ANT and Visual Studio/MS Build.
- Experience working in or utilizing Virtual Environments (VMware, AWS, Azure).

Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration of IBM Rational ClearCase/ClearQuest tools across various environments, including the application of fixes and upgrades.
- Enhance and customize ClearCase and ClearQuest tools utilizing Visual Basic, VBScript, Perl, and SQL.
- Execute on-demand builds and deployments for J2EE and .Net applications in compliance with Configuration Management protocols.
- Conduct Configuration Management quality assurance on all artifacts.
- Manage alterations and ensure the integrity of all development and program artifacts.
- Identify configuration items, audit changes made, and govern configurations throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Act as a liaison between the project team to facilitate the identification and resolution of software defects.
- Ensure that versioning is applied to configuration items before changes or implementations.
- Develop, document, and maintain Configuration Management procedures.
- Support the Customer Service Center as needed or scheduled.
- Occasionally provide availability for late shift hours on-site as required.
- Undertake other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager.
