Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. - Over 5 years of relevant experience in a SETA or similar technical advisory role, particularly within government initiatives. - Demonstrable experience with unified communications platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, or Zoom. - Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and firewalls. - Proven track record in program/project management with skills in scheduling and risk management. - Comprehensive understanding of DoD and/or IC environments, including applicable standards and technologies. - Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - A proactive approach to problem-solving, with outstanding organizational and multitasking skills. - Active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph is required to begin and must be maintained. - PMP, Agile, or other project management certifications are preferred. - CCNA, CCNP, or relevant networking certifications are desirable. - ITIL Certification or equivalent framework experience is an asset. - Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements is beneficial.

Responsibilities

- Provide expert technical guidance and strategic recommendations for the integration, deployment, and optimization of unified communication platforms, including VoIP and video conferencing. - Assess and propose UC technologies to meet project requirements and enhance operational performance. - Ensure interoperability of UC solutions with existing IT infrastructures, maintaining scalability and security. - Assist in comprehensive program management activities, from gathering requirements to implementation and ongoing support. - Develop and maintain program documentation, encompassing project plans, timelines, and performance indicators. - Identify potential program risks and provide mitigation strategies aligned with client goals and deadlines. - Lead meetings to synchronize stakeholders, monitor progress, and ensure project deliverables adhere to established scope, timelines, and budget constraints. - Deliver expert advice for designing, implementing, and managing secure, resilient networks for mission-critical systems. - Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure conformity with relevant standards and protocols. - Support the assessment and integration of networking technologies to enhance efficiency across high-performance systems. - Act as a trusted advisor to government stakeholders, promoting strategic vision and optimizing performance. - Facilitate effective communication among vendors, engineers, and program sponsors to align deliverables with mission objectives. - Stay abreast of emerging technologies in unified communications and networking to identify innovative opportunities.
