Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of relevant experience with Navy combat systems, particularly with AEGIS Combat System, SSDS, or similar programs
- Current Secret clearance or the capability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools like Atlassian Jira and Confluence
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced modeling techniques to fulfill mission and operational requirements for Navy combat systems, emphasizing AEGIS Combat System and SSDS
- Conduct trade-off studies on operational and system effectiveness, plan tests, and engage in validation activities
- Review test planning documents to establish clear Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs) and support precise operational requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including the Operational Test & Evaluation Force, to ensure simulation results satisfy requirements and accurately reflect Navy live-fire performance data
- Create customized TestBed solutions alongside a team of skilled engineers to meet specific Navy demands
