Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering with a minimum of 18 years of experience
- Over 10 years of experience in mesh architectures such as AWS, Platform One, or Azure
- Valid in-scope security background investigation (T5) adjudicated for SCI eligibility and active in Continuous Vetting program (if applicable)
- Willingness to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information and consent to a polygraph examination
- Cloud SysOps Administrator Certification
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or similar
- Proven skills in coding and automation using Python, PHP, or equivalent
- Solid background in DevSecOps software development environments
Responsibilities
- Engage in software development throughout every phase of the software engineering lifecycle, including scope estimation, design, documentation, implementation, testing, and integration
- Design, deploy, and maintain various AWS cloud resources and cloud-native web applications
- Create connectivity solutions between cloud service providers and on-premise networks
- Employ analytical, automation, and coding techniques in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Generate design documentation, including technical diagrams and specifications
- Support multiple application teams in creating comprehensive or partial cloud representations of lab-hosted systems
- Collaborate with teams to establish cloud architecture that incorporates best practices and templates for hosting and automation
- Design and develop new applications (COTS, custom, etc.) and operations & maintenance tools, integrating them into existing cloud environments to enhance mission capabilities
- Aid in formulating solutions for software architecture challenges and broad design issues
- Manage virtual and physical servers across various operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2008-2016, Ubuntu, CentOS)
- Ensure server infrastructure security by adhering to industry best practices for privacy, security, and regulatory compliance
- Proactively anticipate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues affecting servers and workstations
