Cloud Engineer (AWS, Azure)

- Design, implement, and sustain secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure within Azure, including Azure Key Vault, Azure SQL Server, Azure SQL DB, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). - Operate and manage Kubernetes clusters (AKS), overseeing node pools, networking configurations, persistent volumes, ingress controllers, secrets management, access controls, and namespaces. - Oversee the lifecycle and updates of container images, including pulling hardened images, scanning for vulnerabilities, enforcing least-privilege configurations, and publishing to Azure Container Registry (ACR). - Carry out routine server administration duties such as patching, user provisioning, system monitoring, and backups/restoration of services. - Automate the deployment of infrastructure and applications using Azure DevOps or equivalent CI/CD pipelines with tools like ARM/Bicep/Terraform and Helm. - Implement and uphold security and compliance measures in accordance with NIST SP 800-53 and Zero Trust frameworks, including key vault integration and TLS certificate rotation. - Develop and perpetuate operational runbooks, playbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and system/network architecture diagrams to ensure consistent documentation and repeatability. - Troubleshoot issues across application, network, and infrastructure layers to minimize downtime for AVAP customers, ensuring uninterrupted mission-critical services. - Contribute to the collection of metrics and monitoring (availability, scan throughput, failure rates, license utilization) to enhance program-level reporting.
