Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree (BA/BS)
- At least 14 years of relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- IAT Level III certifications (e.g., CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH)
- Computing Environment certification in Cloud or virtualization (e.g., Azure, AWS, Oracle, IBM), preferably Azure
- Ability to interpret government customer requirements and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a track record of designing and deploying cloud solutions
- Strong expertise in Active Directory design and management
- Proficient in Redhat Enterprise Linux OS and command line
- Experience with Azure Active Directory and Azure Active Directory Connect
- Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services (computing, storage, network, security, etc.)
- Skilled in using tools like Git, YML, and AWS security capabilities (WAF, GuardDuty, IAM, etc.)
- Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) tool suites
- Experience with Zero Trust architectures
- Proven change and configuration management experience with government clients
- Ability to evaluate and suggest DevOps tools based on needs
- Proficiency in Powershell/bash scripting for automation
- Experience writing SSM documents in JSON/YAML
- Capability to write/test/deploy CloudFormation templates
- Familiarity with EC2 Image Builder pipelines
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of cloud solution architectures that enhance how our clients utilize cloud technology, focusing on security, scalability, and resilience
- Define, communicate, and oversee various security processes while aiding in the transformation of platforms
- Ensure cloud service offerings comply with DoD Cloud Computing guidelines
- Provide detailed recommendations for hardware/software selection and cloud service provider implementation that best fit business requirements
- Develop and execute testing for cloud and virtualization systems
- Maintain advanced knowledge of industry standards and cloud computing and virtualization technologies, including deployment models
- Assess and report on new cloud and virtualization technologies to improve cloud and virtualized service capabilities
- Engage in systems engineering tasks such as Concept of Operations Formulation, Requirements Definition, Analysis, System Integration, and Performance Analysis
- Conduct functional analysis, timeline assessments, and requirements allocation to translate customer needs into technical specifications
- Collaborate with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives
- Advise on project matters ensuring effective program execution
- Act as a spokesperson for complex projects and provide advanced technical insights to management and clients
