Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with at least nine (9) years of relevant experience; or a Masters degree with seven (7) years of relevant experience; or a PhD or JD with four (4) years of relevant experience. Relevant experience may substitute for education.
- Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
- Background in Joint/Combined military operations and proficiency in systems engineering methods to develop mission solutions for pressing intelligence needs.
- Proven operational knowledge in air object custody topics, including air operations, quality standards, correlation logic, identification criteria, and sensor bias compensation.
- Comprehensive understanding of systems engineering practices including system architecture, requirements integration, and CONOPS development.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
- Strong organizational abilities and capacity to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills on technical matters, often requiring coordination in high-tempo situations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Experience as an Air Battle Manager, AWACS/JSTARS/Air Operations Center Mission Crew Commander, or in a USAF DGS role is a plus.
- Familiarity with US Government systems such as MARS, FADE, THRESHER, ChatSurfer, Bodhi is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide thought leadership and practical engineering support to the Program Management Office for solution engineering, program planning, and mission integration to fulfill air object custody needs.
- Analyze stakeholder and system requirements, and facilitate discussions about CONOPS, scheduling impacts, and trade-offs.
- Collaborate with systems engineers from other programs to improve cross-program integration, monitor solution delivery progress, and aid in the creation of digital work products.
- Participate in technical and programmatic discussions; identify and resolve issues while providing engineering advice to the customer for innovative capability achievement.
- Offer technical insights to aid in the planning of future systems and architectures.
- Prepare briefings and documentation, encompassing architectural views and technical roadmaps.
